Silver and amethyst jewelry set (ring + earrings)
1
The molten silver and the amethyst gems of these pieces from the “Volcano” collection evoke, transformed into jewelry, the lava of the Central Valley. Their shapes recall, through a contemporary aesthetic, the volcanic ranges that shelter the heart of Costa Rican coffee farming. These elegant pieces become the perfect accessory for nature lovers. This collection is handmade with certified lead and cadmium free sterling silver (.925) to avoid allergies. It was awarded the Institute of Tourism "Artesanía con Identidad" label, as well as the Costa Rica Ministry of Culture "Costa Rica Artesanal" Quality Seal.

I design and create for women who appreciate beauty and originality.” With more than 30 years of experience, this Costa Rican jewelry artist has developed a distinctive style through independent work in her home studio. She studied Modern Languages (French) at the University of Costa Rica and trained in silversmithing with Sue Goldgewicht in San José, followed by specialized workshops in chain making, mokumé, filigree, and acid etching at Estudio Metalo. Working primarily with silver and occasionally gold, she combines semi-precious stones and natural materials such as wood, sea- and time-weathered glass, stones, ceramics, metals, textiles, and repurposed materials to create harmonious and original designs. Each piece is unique and one of a kind, offering clients the opportunity to own an exclusive work of wearable art.
