Maureen Vargas Orozco is a Costa Rican jewelry designer and founder of Joyas Taabit, a company specializing in bio-jewelry and artisanal design. Her unique pieces incorporate natural stones, metals, seeds, bark, and jícaro (calabash), blending traditional craftsmanship with inspiration from nature and Costa Rica’s cultural heritage. She has created collections inspired by elements of Costa Rican identity and brings more than 15 years of experience in the design and creation of handcrafted jewelry.
